Commercial EV Chargepoints at SSE, Aldershot

Project Details

With a lot of businesses encouraging their staff to convert to electric vehicles, there is a high demand for the installation of Electric Vehicle Chargepoints at their place of work.

This particular project saw the installation of 2 x 22kW ProjectEV floor mounted EVC’s for SSE Enterprises at their Aldershot Depot.

To give SSE full control over who charges/how much the staff get charged, there were a number of options;

Plug & Charge – With the Plug and Play mode you simply plug a vehicle into the device and the charge begins.

RFID Card – The staff can be provided with their own individual RFID Card. The card is then presented to the device for the charge to start. This method is recommended to prevent un-authorised usage of the unit.

Project EV App – The Project EV App allows the client to choose and customise charging rates, prioritise off-peak charging to maximise savings in order to create a revenue from the unit and create charging records; so the client can see and control all their data.

The guys at JS Electrics recently completed a rewire at my property. They did a fantastic job in a very short period of time. I was expecting a lot of mess to clean up but was pleasantly surprised when I came back and the house was in the same condition I left it. The flooring and furniture was placed back as it was and the chasing in the walls was very clean. I highly recommend their services and would definitely use them again!

Superb. Jake and Shaun was very professional with the way they turned up and assessed our work required and give us some better solutions on upgrades of the new light lamps to have to brighten up our facility's. They sent through the costing within a day of leaving and carried out the work the week after. When the 2 men where on the job they was very professional as they was working in a educational environment and where very cautious not to disturb the curriculum that was ongoing that day.I would highly recommend these 2 lads very professional, Clean and got the job done.
