Electrical Re-wiring of Watkins & Gunn, Pontypool

Project Details

This complex project involved the full electrical re-wiring of a Grade 2 Listed Building in the heart of Pontypool town in Torfaen.

The overall works were carried out over a 6 month period to allow working members of staff to re-locate to different parts of the building once they had been completed.

The project involved the installation of a new 3-phase DB in the basement of the building. This DB was then used to supply individual Sub-DB’s on each level, with all local circuitry connected to each of these.

As the building remained occupied as a working office during the whole programme of works, planning and communication was constantly kept between ourselves and the client for the whole duration of works and was a pleasure to see the finished article.

The guys at JS Electrics recently completed a rewire at my property. They did a fantastic job in a very short period of time. I was expecting a lot of mess to clean up but was pleasantly surprised when I came back and the house was in the same condition I left it. The flooring and furniture was placed back as it was and the chasing in the walls was very clean. I highly recommend their services and would definitely use them again!

Superb. Jake and Shaun was very professional with the way they turned up and assessed our work required and give us some better solutions on upgrades of the new light lamps to have to brighten up our facility's. They sent through the costing within a day of leaving and carried out the work the week after. When the 2 men where on the job they was very professional as they was working in a educational environment and where very cautious not to disturb the curriculum that was ongoing that day.I would highly recommend these 2 lads very professional, Clean and got the job done.
